  • Planning Board meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Town Hall
  • Board of Adjustment meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Town Hall
  • Parks and Recreation meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Town Hall

NC STEP

Marshall has been accepted into NC STEP- the North Carolina Small Town Prosperity program. This Rural Center program supports economic recovery and revitalization in small towns adversely affected by structural changes in the economy or recent natural disasters.

News!   Marshall was selected for the N.C. Small Towns Prosperity Project by the NC Rural Center.  This is a three year program.  The picture below shows town officials with Rural Center President Billy Ray Hall, and NC Lieutenant Governor Beverly Perdue.
